Andrew Hoehner

Managing Partner 

 

Andrew Hoehner is the Founder/ CEO of Hoevan, LLC which owns Techcycle Solutions and EVSTAR that together provide a full-service Insurance and Extended Warranty solution.  Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and warranty service contract industry.  He has held executive roles with wireless providers, retailers, and third-party administrators at companies such as Cellular One, T-Mobile, AIG, National Electronics Warranty, Cover Genius and Asurion. He also built a handset insurance and warranty company from the ground up which was later acquired by NEW/ Asurion.

 

Andrew started his career with T-Mobile as Sr. Director of Operations where he was responsible for launching new markets across the US.  After leaving T-Mobile Andrew took over all product development and product lineup for Cellular One where he managed all emerging products such as the handset insurance product, handset lineup, unlimited calling, and data plans.

After leaving Cellular One, Andrew Founded Mobilesure/ Cellect Solutions which provided handset insurance and warranty solutions to the underserved Tier 2 & 3 cellular providers within the US.  After only two years Mobilesure/ Cellect Solutions was sold to National Electronics Warranty (NEW) out of northern Virginia.  After the acquisition Andrew headed up all retail product development for NEW with a client portfolio with the likes of Walmart, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Best Buy, Target, and Lowes.  NEW was later acquired by Asurion and Andrew then moved from retail product development to the management of the Verizon business which also included AOL and Yahoo!.

Andrew then moved to AIG to head up its emerging handset insurance division where he developed the entire suite of handset insurance products from full administration, care, fulfillment, repair, and logistics.  

​

After AIG Andrew took a position of SVP of Global Operations for the Australian based startup Cover Genius.  Andrew was responsible for building a global network of in-home and depot repair, logistics and claims solutions.  

​

Andrew was born and raised in Oklahoma but now resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and their two children.  Andrew enjoys volunteering as a travel baseball & softball coach as well as playing a round of golf when he can.
